Our Story

Our new restaurant is where guests of Kingston Resorts and Lowcountry locals gather for exceptional Carolina culinary experiences. The chefs at Black Drum Brewing create innovative menus, showcasing the tastes of North and South Carolina through seafood, house-smoked meats, and oven-fired pizzas. Meet the Team

Executive Chef Damian Brugger

Born in Texas, splitting time between Houston and the hill-country, Chef Damian is a self-taught Pitmaster. As a member of the United States Marine Corps, chef honed his grilling skills that he later took to Louisiana where he founded Black Label Barbecue, a Texas style barbeque not found at the time in New Orleans. Damian garnered numerous awards during his time in the Big Easy and was featured in nationwide magazines and news outlets.
